The compressed air (laden with oil vapour) enters the bottom of the Carbon Tower and flows upward through the bed and exits out the top.
The Special Activated Carbon has a great affinity for Oil and Oil Vapour; therefore it works by adsorbing contaminates onto the surface of its internal pores and allows the Oil and Oil vapour to be impregnated and retained onto the surface of the Carbon.
